Set in 23 acres of stunning parkland filled with brightly coloured blooms and perfectly cut lawns, The Botanic Gardens Cafe & Banqueting Hall is a family-run business playing host to two kitsch cafes. Established over 30 years ago, the cafes seat up to 120 people and lay on fresh, home-made food and snacks seven days a week. Keeping things traditional, there is afternoon tea and toasted bacon sandwiches for those who enjoy a bit of classic nourishment.

Pinkie finger lifting duos can enjoy a spot of afternoon tea in a picturesque location at the Botanic Gardens. After pouring from a pot of tea each, guests can then delve into the selection of sandwiches with fillings including ham, cheese, roast turkey, and tuna mayonnaise, all of which will be served on both white and brown bread. Mixing up savoury and sweet, sultana scones will be served with butter and jam alongside a selection of fresh cream cakes ready to be devoured.
