Shimmering with its new, refurbished look, The Dining Room at the Frog serves home-cooked British cuisine using the finest fresh produce. As well as the meaty fare served up at dinnertime, there are myriad vegetarian options, plus daily specials, luscious desserts and a children’s menu for the tadpoles of the family. Lighter bites such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes are available for lunch. The eatery also provides a free pick-up and drop-off service, meaning diners can simply jump into the minibus if they’re croaking after a glass of wine or two.
Twos or fours can leap over to The Frog for a two course meal. To start with, guests can select from the likes of king prawns, griddled and set on a toasted brioche with a cream and dill sauce; or sliced beef, tomato and mozzarella, served on crispy salad leaves along with a drizzle of olive oil. For the main event, there’s the beef wellington, where a prime fillet and mixed peppers are wrapped in pastry, and served with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables; or the griddled scallops, coated in herb butter and set on rocket and topped with a tomato and cucumber salsa. Customers will be able to wash everything down with a glass of wine each.
