Successfully multitasking with the 3 Cs of cafe, cake shop and caterer, The Wright Bite charms central Widnes with its family-run shop, sweet-smelling from the baking of cakes, cupcakes and other treats. Close to the area’s shops and well-known market, the bakers also spread their spongy knowledge with regular cake-making classes.
Two lucky late-afternooners will be treated to a spot of afternoon tea with all the trimmings. Along with a pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee, guests will also be able to dig into a range of cakes and sweet treats, plus sandwiches with fillings such as egg mayonnaise, roast chicken, and cheese and onion. If there’s still more room, customers can opt for the deluxe tea, which adds on a few savoury treats such as pies, quiches and canapés.
