Afloat for over a decade, Canoe Kayak Trader sees experienced instructors lead groups along the dips and crests of the local rivers. Adventurers of a variety of ages jump aboard their watercraft, choosing options that include sea kayaking and recreational paddling. Water-bound voyages set forth seven days a week, departing from Warwick Boats and Leam Boat Centre.
Children or adults can enjoy a two hour experience designed for novices of the paddle. Following a briefing, students will don safety gear before assuming position in their river-bound vessel. The canoe is a flat-bottomed craft that fits two people, while the kayak assumes a smaller form which sits lower in the water and fits one. Students will learn basic skills as they explore a calm stretch of the river, going with the flow past the nature reserve and greenery of the Victorian gardens.
