About The Event
From the thunderous leaps and muscled rush of cross country eventers to the practised flow of showjumping, The Longines Royal International Horse Show Hickstead brings some of the finest competitors of the equestrian world together, ready to do battle. A culmination of months’ worth of qualifications and with a host of prestigious classes, magnificent horses and glossy little show ponies will be brushed and gleaming in readiness for an excited trot across the Hickstead grounds, while eager spectators will peer out from beneath the audacious curves of their hats. 
The Venue
Designed to make the most of Hickstead's lush pocket of Sussex, the show ground boasts everything from over 300 exhibitors stalls, including equestrian items to fashion, and the Members' restaurant, which overlooks much of the showjumping action. Ringside Lodges and a Beethoven suite are often filled with the blazored excitement of private and corporate entertaining, while a clutch of private viewing boxes can lend a sense of exclusivity to the day.
