At the centre of all things sweet and gooey, Cafe Central is a Matlock-based bistro cafe with a touch of savoury available on their Italian-inspired menus, and a dab hand at baking. The team whips up cakes for special occasions and passes on culinary knowledge via a range of workshops, which cover everything from cupcake decoration to baking from scratch.
This class will shine a light on the art of creating old-fashioned chocolates and confectionary. Students will be kitted out with the requisite ingredients and tools to make the likes of fudge, truffles, and toffee, under the watchful eyes of the confectionary connoisseurs. Tea and cakes will be served, and by the end of the three-hour workshop, a gift box of handmade sweeties will be ready to take home and devour.
