Photographing in the wilderness is notoriously tricky, as trees and rivers are unlikely to be won over by the promise of cheese. Watch the birdie with today’s Groupon: £39 for an outdoor photography course from Monkeygrip Photography.
Providing a snappy service for family portraits, nuptial documentation, and vain stretches of countryside, Stu Mullarkey of Monkeygrip Photography can capture any moment in a flash. His studio sessions aim to keep kids and rookie posers relaxed and naturally grinning, whilst his landscape shots offer and contemporary view of the Midland gardens. With courses designed to get untrained photographers comfortable with their clickers, Stu gets shutterbugs comfortable both in the limelight and behind the camera.
Outdoor courses will commence as teams of up to 12 budding nature paparazzi meet at The Village Hotel in Chigwell, where they pick up some handy hints on composition and camera functions. A wilderness stroll will take the group on a tour around the two lakes of Attenborough nature reserve, where they’ll strive to spot a host of birds, wildlife, and light reflecting ripples. As intrepid photographers return to the hotel they’ll be greeted with refreshments, photo sharing, and constructive feedback, before going their separate ways to flashy prowess.
Initial course dates:
