In the world of long lunches, the 26-mile buffet table is king. Dine in style with today's Groupon from The Navigation Inn. Choose from the following options:
• £7 for Sunday carvery for two, with tea or coffee (Up to 61% off)• £14 for Sunday carvery for four, with tea or coffee (Up to 61% off)
A wholesome combination of traditional pub aesthetics and a family-friendly atmosphere, The Navigation Inn steers its visitors in the direction of homemade food, a children's play area, and a refreshing range of tipples. Families flock to feast on the hearty Sunday carvery, which sates appetites worked up in the outdoor farm area, or climbing through the indoor soft play equipment. Bed and breakfast opportunities are also on offer to those who can't bear to leave.
Lighting up a steaming runway of roast-glistening joints, the carvery takes medieval inspiration in rolled joints of pork, thin-sliced beef, and turkey sitting hot next to a rubble of potatoes and seasonal vegetables. There will be a vegetable bake for herbivores, and a carvery-style pudding option can be added for £2.99 each. Tea or coffee will be served afterwards to wash down the feast.
Reviews
While yet to be widely reviewed, The Navigation Inn was awarded a mouth-watering 4/5 by TripAdvisors. Carvery visitors complimented the pub’s atmosphere and quirky decor, as well as the choice and quality of food on offer.
The whole experience was superb. The carvery included beef best I have eaten pork and turkey we had a choice of carrots, garden peas, mushy peas (fantastic) cabbage leeks with cheese sauce ( gorgeous) sweetcorn ( my favourite) cauliflower plus new potatoes mash and the best home cooked yorkshire puddings [sic].

We returned for a Sunday carvery due to the kids keep going on about the pub it was like my mums homecooked dinner [sic]. We have tried several pubs in the area and this by far the best in the area.
