Immemorial traditions and skills are passed on by X Adventure Activities, as it offers personal introductions to Mother Nature with a healthy spread of land and water based adventure activities. From its base in Essex the experienced team leads expeditions around the country, as thrill seekers can try coasteering, mountaineering, archery, and lots of other high energy experiences.
During the 10am to 4pm course, keen learners will discover some of the key skills required to stay fed and warm in the bush. Firelighting, shelter building, and making use of nature’s abundant materials will all be covered, giving students the chance to set up their own digs whenever they take a walk on the wild side. Bushwhackers can also learn a series of useful knots for binding and the less squeamish among the group can learn how to skin a rabbit.
