Shimmying talent from the studio to the stage, Dance Diversion is a creative outfit which introduces contemporary, mambo, and hustle-style choreography into workshops and events. The artistic director boasts experience in performing and teaching, as well as demonstrating technical know-how as a movement analyst. Fusing art and entertainment with a fresh range of spicy Latino-influenced styles, the instructors offer private tuition as well as small group lessons from their Fitness First location in Wapping.
Attendees come in, work out, and shake it all about in six or ten 55 minute dance classes up to four times a week, learning basic routines and movements for the mambo and cha-cha-cha. Sessions will take place every Monday and Wednesday at 8pm and 9pm, and will focus on improving posture, alignment, and co-ordination, along with balance and tomato salsa techniques.
