While a crimson complexion is all well and good if bench pressing a 1000lb barbell or walking down the aisle, it can sometimes prove bothersome in everyday life. Don't spare anyone's blushes with today's Groupon: £149 for two IPL rosacea treatments plus one Biodermabrasion session at Pulse Light Clinic.

Run by rosacea specialist Sheila MacLean, a therapist with more than 12 years' of experience, Pulse Light Clinic uses the latest technology to combat common skin complaints. Based in the City of London and minutes away from Tower Hill, Monument and Aldgate underground stations, the clinic offers treatment for a number of different skin conditions including red veins, sun damage, melisma and hyperpigmentation.

The path to a less ruddy cheeked future starts with a 15-minute consultation and patch test to make sure clients are suitable for the treatment. After a minimum of 48 hours, this is followed by a Bioderm microdermabrasion session to remove dead skin cells, helping to make the subsequent IPL treatments more effective. Customers then get two of the said IPL sessions that can help reduce the appearance of facial redness, damaged blood vessels and red inflammatory papules, though these must be taken three weeks apart. Clients will also be given dietary advice to help them reduce the symptoms of rosacea.

Reviews

Pulse Light Clinic has not yet attracted many reviews, however, two patients have remarked on the professional staff and effective treatments.

Having achieved remarkable results & a quality of service to match, this clinic provides state of the art equipment combined with very experienced staff.
