Part of a multi award-winning restaurant chain, Saffron Red whips up vivacious Indian fare in the thumping heart of London’s business district. The polished eatery is garnished with cream walls and a simple, contemporary decor, and the seasonal à la carte menu is filled with traditional curries, tender tandoori dishes, and aromatic biryanis, with accompanying breads and steaming bowls of basmati rice. Bringing a host of regional flavours ashore, the chef's specials include succulent duck, lamb, and fresh seafood dishes, sprinkled with authentic herbs and sizzling spices.

A sumptuous Indian spread will be selected by either two or four diners, with starter options including the mixed platter of chicken and lamb tikka, sheek kebab, and meat samosas (£8.95) or paneer tikka: Indian cheese marinated in tangy spices and cooked in the tandoor (£3.75). The parade of flavours can be chased up with the fragrant and fiery lamb jalfrezi dressed with green chillis (£9.50). Vegetarians can select from a range of classic dishes, including the saag aloo (£6.95) or the veg biryani (£9.95). Meals are accompanied by orders of rice or naan bread, with drinks and poppadums available for an additional fee.
