Providing a chuckle in Edinburgh every Friday and Saturday, The Cav evokes giggles with comedy nights that feature some of Britain’s top new funnies. The club is located within Lava Ignite, giving pun-loving punters the chance to progress through munching, drinking, laughing and bopping in a sole venue. Doors open at 7pm, and the snigger shows run for two hours from 8.30pm, after which the venue transforms into the city’s largest club night which is open until 3am.
Alongside a glass of sparkling cava each (£1.66), chortle chasers can chomp their choice of Margherita (£7), Spicy Pepperoni (£8), or Sweet Chilli Chicken (£8) pizza, before digging in to some rib-tickling fun. Amazing place, it's huge! Comedy show was set up in what was the main room of the nightclub and was transformed back afterwards. Staff were lovely and friendly from the moment we walked in, they showed us to our seats which were near the front great view!
