With four glittering stars from Visit Scotland, The Goth, which is otherwise known as the Prestoungrange Gothenburg, is a family-friendly bistro pub encased within the historic confines of a Grade II listed building. Appetisingly placed in the coastal town of Prestonpans, the eatery uses locally sourced Scottish produce to help serve up a menu of pub classics, and quenches thirsts with barrels of real ales. The establishment plays host to regular live music events and all-year art exhibitions, as well as raising a glass to private parties in two function rooms. 
After a leisurely stroll by the sea, hungry diners can pick a table and settle in for some taste bud tempting grub in the form of a home-made beef burger (£8.95). Extra toppings such as sweet chilli, BBQ, cheese coleslaw or bacon can be added for a surcharge. All buns are all served with chips and salad, with a pint of lager, Swedish style Gothenburg Porter ale brewed on site or a soft drink (up to £3.10) on hand to wash morsels down with ease.
