About IPL for Rosacea and Thread Vein
This treatment is designed to reduce redness on facial skin. A layer of cold gel is applied before Intense Pulsed Light is used in an attempt to create a clearer complexion in specific areas. A course of 4-6 treatments at four week intervals is recommended for best results, and the effects are not permanent. Any affected area can be targeted, except the beard area in men. The thread vein treatment uses the same machine, but targets areas affected by broken veins.

The Session
Selecting from a facial or leg area, bodies can get four sessions of IPL to target rosacea or thread veins on one large or two small areas, or choose to treat four small or two large areas. The therapist will focus the IPL machine on the selected areas in 30 minute sessions, each taken four weeks apart.
