With over 30 years’ sailing experience at its helm, Edinburgh Boat Charters offers budding sailors a chance to take to the high seas in style. Boasting a modern luxury yacht with room for up to eight seafaring passengers, this nautical experience offers an interesting alternative for corporate exercises, celebrations, or romantic coastline cruises. Navigating the natural beauty and saline splendour of the Forth, the captains afford customers more than a second to get their first sailing thrill.
Drifting into the marina, sailing parties can choose either an afternoon or an evening trip. Passengers can choose to take the helm, steering the vessel themselves and pulling on ropes like a true deckhand, or can sit back and relax while expert skipper Colin Henderson does his thing. Sailors can take in a variety of stunning sights as the ship slips through the Firth of Forth, touring various bridges and islands adorned with historic abbeys and lighthouses. Adventurers can keep tummies stoked with tea or coffee and a pastry, and memories will be preserved with photos sent to each sailor's email address.
Edinburgh Boat Charters received a buoyant 5/5 from seafaring TripAdvisors. Reviewers enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and having the chance to pilot the vessel as well as being able to see the Forth bridges from a new angle.
It was incredibly relaxed, with lots of good banter amongst the group as we took in the sights along the Forth, sailing past the sunbathing seals all the way up to Incholm Abbey which looked spectacular from the boat. A great way to spend an afternoon ending with a glass of bubbly and a group photo under the bridge before returning back to Port Edgar

Started out at Port Edgar marina just outside south Queensferry and sailed under both forth bridges AMAZING. Everybody on the trip got a chance to steer the yacht and have a go at the tacking which looks easier but isn't .
