Based in the rugged beauty of the Midlothian countryside, Leadburn Manor offers a scenic location for fishing, a spot of golf, face painting or a children’s treasure hunt. The environment is given a friendly high five as all power for the site is generated by water-wheel, solar panel and wind-turbine. Located approximately 30 minutes from Edinburgh, the manor features three lochs, a 200 metre slow-running stream, a ‘Bait Pond’ for kids as well as a whole host of fun family activities.
After a full safety brief, adrenaline junkies can clamber inside their very own inflatable ‘hamster ball’ before being rolled upon one of Leadburn Manor's watery stretches for up to 7.5 minutes. A complimentary cup of tea or coffee, or a soft drink is provided, before a round of 18 holes on the kids' putting green awaits.
