Shy, retiring gig goers can start out their musical adventures gently, beginning with hiding under a rock concert. Be a little boulder with today’s Groupon: for £5.50 get a ticket to see Journey and Foreigner tribute group A Foreigner’s Journey at the HMV Picture House on Saturday 24 September.

Combining the 1970s and ’80s rock monsters of Journey and Foreigner, A Foreigner’s Journey pays tribute to these multi-platinum selling artists amped up with an electrifying stage presence and energy. The HMV Picture House, a 1,500 capacity Edinburgh venue featuring original art deco architecture and stained glass windows, provides a stunning backdrop to a heroic musical experience and a tantalising opportunity to turn historians on to guitar-based geology. Not far from Haymarket rail station, the venue is easily accessible to performance pilgrims from all over the country.

A general admission ticket to see A Foreigner’s Journey at the HMV Picture House on Saturday 24 September allows guests to throw the horns and shake their hair to some legendary rock hits. The show sees the tribute act playing some of the songs that saw both bands collectively sell over 130 million albums worldwide, including the infamous power ballad fist clencher, "I Want to Know What Love Is", and official national anthem "Don't Stop Believin'". With additional support from Til This Night, the band promise to dazzle rockers with blistering guitars and powerful vocals, and doors open at 7pm.
