The venue hosts waterside events, fishing lessons, and boasts a restaurant that specialises in creating flavoursome dishes from fine local produce. Also a licensed wedding venue, post-ceremony snaps can be taken on the lakeside lawns or the wooden decking with a backdrop of twinkling emerald waters, and guests can even take to the loch in one of the picturesque provided boats for a £10 supplement.
A wedding pair and up to 60 guests have exclusive use of Venachar Lochside, with a bridal suite available for the newlyweds, and 10 pleasure boats for pootles on the water. Champagne greets guests on arrival, while soon-to-be-weds can choose to make a grand entrance, sweeping across the lake on a 22ft power boat. Both the wedding ceremony and the reception can be held at the licensed venue if couples organise their own official to tie the knot, followed by a gourmet three course meal specially created by the restaurant’s head chef and followed by tea, coffee, and petit fours. Venue setup for the evening shindig is also included, as is an evening buffet, while a wedding planner and master of ceremonies make sure things go without a hitch.
