Using traditional farming methods to supply local Scots with scrumptious home-grown produce, Your Local Farm maintain the same ethos and community based approach that has been employed at Balquhatstone Mains for over four generations. Initially established as a Local Producers Cooperative in 1990, the family-run business changed to Yourlocalfarm.co.uk in 2002 with an intention to deliver healthy grub to homes throughout central Scotland and now utilise produce from 18 local growers. With a resolve to leave vegetables as unblemished by chemicals as possible, Your Local Farm’s cows roam free and supply customers with wholesome fare in an environmentally sustainable manner; the company have a carved out an honest name for having tasty food served with a side of respectable morals.
Having deliberated and decided upon either a one or two week supply of a variety of sumptuous fruit, veggies and meat, customers can indulge in a box full of the farm-fresh produce. The box typically contains a selection of 14 varieties of seasonal fruit and vegetables with Highland or Aberdeen Angus steak mince, sausages or burgers. Clients can opt to collect the box or have it delivered to the door for a supplement.
