Housed amidst stained glass windows and lavish black seats, an à la carte menu is filled with platters of fresh fish, succulent meat dishes, and seasonal vegetarian options to be devoured upon crisp white tablecloths. Alongside traditional Sunday lunches with all the trimmings and a scrumptious set menu, the eatery’s banqueting suite also raises a glass to business functions, birthday parties, and weddings.
Stomach-satisfying starters include smoked duck breast served on a bed of mixed leaves (£6.35), while magnificent mains come in the shape of pan-fried sea bass served with a tangy tomato confit (£14.75). What a fantastic meal, my first visit to Cranleigh and how impressed I was, I want to book to go again, the service was spot on, the food was wonderful and as we had the set meal it was value for money, I had lamb shank must of been the biggest one I've ever eaten.
