Complete with wooden interiors and traditional wall art, Tara Thai is seasoned with a selection of spicy curries, sizzling stir fries, and mouth-watering meaty bites. Platters of fresh seafood and vegetarian tidbits are also available.
Banquets may begin with chicken satay served with peanut sauce (£5.50), before moving onto the prawn Penang, a fragrant Thai curry dressed with coconut milk and lime leaves (£8.95) or the fiery chicken gang pa, embellished with bamboo shoots, aubergines and chillies (£7.95). Meat main courses include succulent stir-fried beef in oyster sauce (£7.95), while sumptuous seafood bites come in the shape of stir-fried squid with chillies, fine beans and basil (£8.25). A fresh, vibrant Thai restaurant which combines gorgeous flavours with good service. It is rather reasonable for Thai and the quality of the food is superb - great vegetarian options available. Do pop in!
