This half-day course introduces budding bakers to the art of panificium. Attendees can learn to make bread without kneading, and find out how to make perfect the bake. Students will be encouraged to experiment with different ingredients and techniques to produce a variety of breads. Students can choose from two bread menus to bake from. The first one covers sesame bread sticks, traditional white loaf, focaccia, chocolate brioche rolls and orange brioche loaf, walnut and raisin bread and tear and share dough balls with ginger, chilli and garlic dips. The second menu is gluten free and includes white loaf, fruit loaf, biscotti, Italian bread, bhatura and chapati. Refreshments will be provided.
