Arriving from 9.30am onwards, grown-ups and youngsters alike can experience rides ranging from a stand-up rollercoaster and backwards log flume to the steam engine-themed attractions of Thomas Land. Fearless thrill-seekers may like to brave Apocalypse, which boasts a 4G thrust, and sends riders shooting down a 54m tower in an eye-popping four seconds. More peaceful moments can be spent perusing the wild sights of the 15-acre zoo, or taking it easy with lunch and refreshments in one of many cafes and restaurants found on-site.

Are the rides suitable for everyone?
Drayton Manor features a variety of rides to suit different ages. The Apocalypse was named Britain’s scariest ride by Channel 5’s Gadget Show, while Shockwave is Europe's first stand-up rollercoaster. At the other end of the spectrum, Thomas Land boasts gentler rides to keep toddlers and young kids entertained.

What can be found in the zoo?
The zoo is home to over 100 different species, including fearsome big cats and reptiles, as well as parrots and the ever-popular meerkats. The park also offers visitors the chance to be a zoo keeper for a day and learn about what goes on behind the scenes.
