What can customers expect from the one-day course? An introduction to survival and bushcraft, the one-day option will begin with a shelter building section exploring the importance of protection from the elements. After a bite to eat students will move on to learn all important fire-lighting skills, how to forage for edible and medicinal plants, and an insight into how to navigate without the use of a compass.
How about the three-day weekend option? An action packed weekend beginning at 3pm on Friday and finishes at midday on Sunday. This is a more in depth option covering the same areas as the one-day course plus much more. Amongst other skills, customers can expect to learn how to use and maintain a knife, trap and prepare dinner, and how to signal possible rescue teams.
