Perched in the peaceful village of Ilsington and within Dartmoor National Park, The Carpenters Arms is a charming country pub which uses locally sourced produce to cook up heart-warming pub classics. British banquets could include the likes of the rib-eye steak served with onion rings, chips, peas, and a grilled tomato (£15), sea bass, lime and ginger fishcakes with chilli sauce (£9), or the pork and apple burger with chips and salad (£9). The parade of flavours may be paired with either a starter, such as the crispy prawns with sweet chilli dip (£5.50), or sweetened with a dessert, with choices including sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake (both £4.50).
