A selection of meals use locally sourced Dartmoor and Devon ingredients wherever possible, from filling meals to light snacks and indulging Devon cream tea. Fascinating and stunning scenery lies just a few steps away, with the 13th Century clapper bridge standing just up the way and spanning the East Dart River, making for exciting after dinner excursions.
Pairs can adventure through the bounding greens of Dartmoor National Park and enjoy some rural relaxation before tucking in to a starter and main each. Starters include homemade soup of the day served with a roll and butter (£4.95), and prawn salad served with Marie Rose sauce (£5.95). Main attractions span from homemade pie of the day (£11.95), which ranges from pork and cider, steak and ale, game and more, or there’s the stilton and broccoli quiche served with chips or salad (£8.50) for veggies. Great location, service could not be faulted. Ale good , breakfast really good. Varied evening menu. Our dogs were very welcome and the area is really good for walking.
