Enjoying a perfect dinner often requires advance preparation, meticulous adherence to a recipe, and your third and final genie wish. Save your wishes with today's Groupon from Cinnamon Tandoori Restaurant. Choose from the following options:
• £16 for a two course Indian meal for two with rice, naan, and a glass of wine each (Up to 58% off)• £31 for a two course Indian meal for four with rice, naan, and a glass of wine each (Up to 60% off)
In the Indian tradition, Cinnamon Tandoori Restaurant fires up a tandoor oven to heat speciality chicken, lamb, prawn, and vegetable dishes, prepared with a mix of love and some of Asia's best kept secrets. Diners can feel free to start with dishes such as jeera chicken (£4.45); marinated yoghurt and herb and served with jeera sauce or the mixed pakora (£4.25). Mains include a dish of fall off the bone tandoori chicken (£9.95) with garlic naan, a palindrome dining experience far tastier than eating a race car. The lamb bhahar korma captures imaginations with ingredients such as puréed plum tomatoes, fresh cream, ground cashew nuts, and coconut cream (£7.45), which diners can forklift from plates resting atop elegant, white tablecloths. Sauces trying to run awry can be soaked up with rice and naan sides while thirst is quenched by a glass of white or red wine.
Reviews
TripAdvisors rate the restaurant a generously-portioned 3.5/5 while a Qyper awards it 5/5 stars. Diners praised the food and the attentive service. Some felt the location to be a bit too secluded.
Preferences are asked at time of ordering as to spice requirement and the end result has never failed. On par with the best in Edinburgh.

We (elderly couple) have dined here on 5 occasions. Everything just gets better each time. Flavour of food is superb.. Service is excellent, and waiters/owner prepared to discuss all aspects of a dish...cooking, level of seasoning, spices, ingredients etc.
