Located in a wild corner of picturesque North Fife, the reel dealers at The Goldenloch have been sharing the joys of fly fishing for over 25 years. Tutoring anglers of all abilities, the experienced team offers both boat and bank fishing alike, and has a BBQ area for anyone keen to grill their catch straightaway. A bountiful supply of trout inhabits the loch offering a test for even the most skilled fly fisher.
With the basics of fly fishing securely in the net after an introduction to all the supplied equipment, the perpetual battle between man and beast can continue with up to eight hours of fishing time, allowing visitors to hone skills and hook some slippery characters. Up to three fish can be taken home for supper, and anyone keen to try their luck out on the middle of the lake can hire a boat for £5.
