Master glass-worker Jon Piccolo of Showcase Glass designs and makes a vibrant range of one-off pieces that range from delicate pendants to bowls of deep, oily blue. Students can enjoy an up to three hour class in which they will learn the techniques of fusing glass, using a range of tools to fuse, cut and design their own mirror. All tools and a plain mirror to work with are provided, and decorative glass can be purchased for a supplement. The creation will then be fired in a kiln, after which customers can race home to hang their masterpiece on the wall.
