The London Evening Standard
A recent performance picked up an impressive 4/5 from the Evening Standard. The critic was keen to praise the orchestra's continental sound under the direction of Charles Dutoit, where subtle nuances could come to the surface along with pieces' more dramatic, larger scale aspects.
"He maintained both wide-screen vision and deep focus, allowing tiny details to shine through naturally: in typically French fashion, harps and flutes often took the spotlight."
