Named after the Roman god of wine, Bacchus bar is a connoisseur of quirky drinks and contemporary dining, offering exotic beers alongside globally-inspired cuisine. International drinks line the glowing bar shelves while chilli-flavoured sambucca and ocho tequila are on-hand for adventurous sippers. The modern venue is home to sports nights, quizzes, and DJ decks, with a basement bar available for slick events or casual lounging. Located in the thick of the city centre off Ingram Street, Bacchus can be tracked down a short walk from Argyle Street rail station.
A peckish pair or a hungry foursome can feast on a two course meal including a starter each, such as cheesy jalapeno nachos with chicken (£5.50) or the unique Haggis tempura (£4.50) served with sweet chilli and soy dips. Diners can sip a glass of Prosecco or soft drink on arrival each with their choice of main dish such as vegetable (£9.50) or chicken (£12.50) fajitas with crème fraiche, salsa and flour tortillas. Reviews
Bacchus earns a favourable 4/5 from TripAdvisors, who praise the quality of cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and attentive personnel.
Food lovely with a great atmosphere. Have tried this for lunch and after work. It is a nice bar and there is a good selection of food with specials which is always well prepared. Have no complaints - all food eaten has always been very nice.

Sleek and smooth, the bar is pleasing on the eye, and service is swift even when busy (most evenings). Food portions are generous and light on the pocket, and washed down with a few drinks from their draught beer selection to the backdrop of some chilled tunes - this place is a real find.
