With a brightly coloured motor racing history, GMP Scotland has been supporting stock car scuffles for over 30 years. The traditional oval track at The Racewall has been home to petrol heads and zooming drama since 1989, and its location is a nifty stroll or tiny drag race from Cowdenbeath railway station. Spectators can overlook accelerated proceedings from the stadium’s licenced bar, or scoop up hot and cold drinks and nibbles from any one of three snack-bars to feed overworked cheering muscles.
Taking a Saturday night to indulge their inner motor devotee, pairs can enjoy speedy challenges which can range from saloon stock cars, junior bangers, and the 2 seater lightning rod round. Although programmes vary, approximately four hours of racing time will allow guests to get stuck in and exercising favouritism based on chassis colour, while pausing for refreshments in the middle. Each visitor can refuel with either a pie or a burger, plus a soft drink to help oil rumbly stomachs.
