Serving up a sizzling array of curried cuisine for over 20 years, Shezan Tandoori Restaurant is a purveyor of Indian delicacies that sits just a fork's throw from Mount Florida train station. The restaurant's diverse menu keeps curry cravings at bay with authentic dishes, some of which are cooked in the traditional tandoor oven.
Diners may start their culinary adventure with the chef's platter (£5.50), comprising spiced cuts of lamb and chicken tikka, chicken chaat and seekh kebab, or the king prawn tandoori, (£5.95) a tantalizing dish marinated in spicy yoghurt. Once hunger pangs are piqued, patrons can cleanse their palate with a glass of house wine each, or a soft drink if preferred, before tucking in to a multitude of mains. Fish dish fans can enjoy a jinga tandoori (£11.95), a king prawn dish marinated in different spices for over 24 hours then cooked in the tandoor, while those looking for a milder dish could opt for the creamy Chicken Nawab (£7.50).

We have been living in "The Mount" for 15 years and the Shezan has provided consistently excellent food. We sometimes eat else where [sic] to try it out but always come back here.
