Although bed-and-breakfasts are now viewed as luxurious getaways, they were once used as treatment centres for people trying to manage acute bacon separation anxiety. Cure yourself with a good night's sleep with today's Groupon: £79 for a two night stay with breakfast for two at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel.

Those that stop talking for long enough can enjoy the spectacular scenery of the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, overlooked by Beinn Dorain.

Outside the quaint lodgings, famous landmarks stand by, ready to entertain; eager adventures can appease cultural cravings at popular checkpoint such as Fort William, Oban, and Rannoch Moor.
The Bridge of Orchy Hotel is a Highland highlight with a rating of 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor and an 8.6/10 with Booking.com. Guests were pleased with the warm atmosphere, the superb rooms and the beautiful scenery. Special mentions were also made of the hotel’s restaurant.
We decided to stay here because of the location on the way from Edinburgh to a B&B in Glenmoriston and were really pleased with both the room and the atmosphere/food in the pub. The room was immaculate! Even had a refrigerator. The scenery in this area is spectacular! I enjoyed the beef with veggies pie and my husband loved the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli and baked mushrooms with bleu cheese. Even the leek soup was perfect! Beer on tap was also amazing!

An excellent balance between service and value. The facilities were good, and the atmosphere very relaxed. Dinner was of a high standard, but a bit more expensive than similar hotels.
