Meals were invented to keep lonely plates company, and to prevent knives and forks from bickering in the cutlery drawer. Do your bit for culinary diplomacy with today's Groupon for a Chinese meal with a glass of wine from Ichai. Choose from the following options:• £15 for two people (Up to 59% off)
• £29 for four people (Up to 61% off)
Centuries of culinary design come together at Ichai, as a team of seasoned chefs recreate the gastronomic heritage of China in the very heart of Anniesland. A wide spread of authentic, regional dishes sit snuggly alongside an extensive wine list at this eatery on Crow Road in the West End, which opens for lunch and dinner.
Dining duos or quartets can tuck into a main course and a side dish each, choosing from morsels such as Chai Sin Roast Pork in honey and soy sauce (£8.90), Sweet and Sour Delight (£10.90), and Beancurd and Mixed Meat with Oyster Sauce (£9.90). Whatever the choice, all dishes will be accompanied by a side each such as mixed vegetables (£3.80), and a glass of house red, white, or rosé (£3.70).
Ichai is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Glasgow and well worth the trip to Anniesland. On the overcrowded Crow Road, it has a lot of competition in the form of many other eateries, but this one stands out by a mile.
