Bringing together scrumming talents from New Zealand, Samoa, South Africa, Fiji, and more, the Glasgow 7s promises to be a prestigious event on the IRB Sevens World Series calendar, taking on the mantle from the former hosts at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. The tournament boasts a round-robin-style pools competition on Saturday 5 May, with the top four forces from each group going on to the cup, plate, shield, and bowl competitions. Sunday 6 May is when mantle is truly tested, with four fierce knockout competitions requiring kicking prowess and rapid breaks for the line.
