Booking required 48 hours in advance of chosen qualifier. 48 hour cancellation policy. Must be 14 or older. 3 handicap classes for each day: 1-10 handicap, 11-18 handicap and 19+ handicap. Overall winner and three best golfers from each category will qualify for final. Includes entry to final for successful qualifier. Must wear golf attire: collared shirt, golf shoes, smart trousers; no jeans. Equipment not provided, must bring own clubs. Junior and ladies play off appropriate tees. Levelling the playing field with the help of the Stableford handicap system, Scottish Stableford offers all golfers the chance to compete in a single tournament. Using the positive-scoring, hole-by-hole system means the odd horrible hole need not throw a round off, allowing seasoned swingers to be challenged by club cubs. With qualifiers spread over a range of six courses, including Dundonald, St Andrews, and The Carrick, and a final played at the Trump International Links, there is an opportunity to tee-off at the cream of Scottish courses.
Taking clubs with them as they swing by their choice of qualifier, suitably-attired pairs of Groupon golfers can tee-off between 8am and 5pm to begin their quest for Stableford handicap glory. Alongside a chance of victory, birdie-seekers get a Royal and Ancient handbook, and a chance to win the hole-in-one car. Finishing in their qualifier’s top ten, iron-wielders will be rewarded with prizes and the chance to compete in the final at the Trump International Links.
