Sand deposits being pumped into a wealthy current account are commonplace on the river bank. Invest in a liquid asset with today's Groupon: £14.50 for a three course festive dinner, with entertainment on board The Ferry.
The banks of the river Clyde play host to a spacious indoor entertainment venue which complements epicurean fancies being tickled with breath-taking views of the expansive waters dancing around the horizon. The glass panel walls enable a panorama by day and twinkling scenes by night, while the mezzanine level on the permanently moored location enables dinner, rhythmic testing of sea legs, and a whole host of musical entertainment.
The night will begin with an early three course festive dinner on the top deck, featuring starters such as chicken liver pate, served on garlic bread and prawn marie rse, garnished with Scottish smoked salmon. Festive mains will feature the traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, sirloin beef chasseur, and whole baked Scottish salmon. Diners might choose to finish their meal white chocolate profiteroles, traditional Christmas pudding, or a selection of cheese and biscuits, with a coffee and tea finale. A melting pot of musical talent, ranging from tribute acts, singer-songwriters, blues bands and many more will then finish the night in jingle bell rocking style.
