This 18th century garden home was crafted at the height of post Restoration frivolity, a green shade hiding follies and flowered bowers, lace and velvet petals, grassy banks and snowdropped serenities. Today Rococo gardens welcome visitors to Painswick's hidden vale for outings or larger events, several of the buildings being perfect for wedding ceremonies, and central kitchens serving as a honey pot for the birds and the bees.
