Occupying a large chunk of lavish Gloucestershire countryside, this barn has been converted into a cookery school for kitchen enthusiasts. With courses from across the globe from Italy to India, the school tackles tagines in a Moroccan themed tuition as well as offering cupcake decorating classes, and lessons to prep pre-university students on how to cook up more than just beans on toast. The rustic décor of the barn combines old stone walls on the exterior with locally sourced wood indoors for the kitchen work tops and chopping boards.

Budding chefs can pop on an apron and learn how to prepare a variety of Italy’s finest pasta exports. Covering the thick and thin strands in tagliatelle and spaghetti, as well as the perfect stuffed ravioli, cooks will get their fill over a two hour session. When the bouncy moulds of pasta have been prepared, apprentices will get shown how to whip up a simple ariabatta sauce and a tasty combo of spinach and ricotta to fill up their ravioli parcels. As all equipment and ingredients are provided for, guests need only a watchful eye and an empty belly.
