Stimulating West Country amygdalae with medicinal shots of laughter, the champions of chuckle at Slak Bar turn Sundays into fun days with their dedicated comedy nights. The live music venue and club transforms into a hub of hilarity once a month as up to five comedians tread the boards and tickle the ribs, with a mix of banter, observation, and heckler-bashing.
Doubled up duos can enjoy an evening of hoots, gags, and postmodern satire steeped in irony. Settling into the cosy club in the centre of Cheltenham, laughers will get a cheeseboard to share and a choice of drink each. With the doors opening at 7.30pm, visitors are advised to get in early to secure a good seat before the show starts at 9pm.

Slak is one of Cheltenham's real hidden treasures. Tucked away down a back-street, it's a great place for a quiet drink on a weekday night or a crowded party on a Friday or Saturday.
