Fine wine, like a genie, resides in a bottle, gets better with age, and is hailed as a guardian spirit. Grant a wish with today’s Groupon: £21 for a vineyard tour with wine tasting plus a rustic cheese board lunch and coffee for two at Three Choirs Vineyard.

With resident wine expert Martin Fowke awarded Winemaker of the Year 2008 by Mercian Vineyards Association, the Three Choirs Vineyard is nestled in 75 acres, nurturing grapes two miles north of Newent. Producing over 250,000 bottles a year, the single estate includes 11 guest rooms, an active winery and brewery, with a restaurant creating fresh dishes to compliment the house wines. A private function room offers panoramic views over the estate, and tours allow wine lovers to explore the vineyard, experience the diverse wildlife, and taste plenty a magical tipple.
Bubbly buddies can soak up the sights with a guided tour of the vineyard and winery (£8) including the presses, fermentation process and bottling line, along with a nature trail plus audio posts, and a tasting selection of wines. After dabbling in a rustic cheese board lunch (£12) and coffee (£3.50) each, there’s a 15% discount off all wine purchases in the shop to enjoy, plus £10 off a two course meal in the restaurant.
Reviews
Although most reviews are in reference to the adjoining hotel, a number of oenophiles have commented positively on the friendly staff, quality wines and excellent food served.
Super vineyard tour with very knowledgeable guide, followed by wine tasting then lunch. This is the life. The wines, mostly white are Germanic style and may not be to everyone's taste, but the good wines are very, very good.

The Vineyard paths were well laid out and well signposted with little summerhouses along the route for you to sit and listen to recordings about various subjects relating to the site. Lunch in the Vineyard Restaurant was just superb and couldn't be faulted. The staff were extremely well mannered and helpful and the food was just to die for!
