The Hotel
With a story beginning over 70 years ago, today this country house is a three-star hotel articulating a traditional interior of grand antiques and roaring log fires. Colourful pots of fresh flowers fill four elegant lounges, while windows look out at the flourishing garden of slate-wall arches and sculptured shrubbery. At dinner time the restaurant invites guests to feast upon its fine dining menu, which adorns plates with modern European fare and tasty seafood.

Pairs can ramble along the nearby Morecambe Bay, digging toes into the sand on the long stretch of beach. For a little culture, potter around the Edwardian shops and public gardens of Grange-over-Sands. The traditional holiday resort is also home to an 18-hole golf course, inviting guests to take a swing on its rolling greenery. Alternatively, venture a little further afield to Kendal, found 26 miles inland from the hotel. Rail: The hotel is located just over one mile from Grange-over-Sands local train station. This is serviced by a direct train from Manchester Piccadilly.
Road: From Manchester, take the M61/M6 north towards Kendal. Turn onto the A590 towards Sizergh, continuing to follow this road west until Grange-over-Sands.
