The Hotel
With panoramic views across the Aeolian Islands, this hilltop hotel keeps guests in scenic luxury. An outdoor infinity pool is placed in prime viewing position, while a shuttle bus ferries holiday-makers to and from the hotel's own private beach every 30 minutes. Helping stressed sun-tanners to relax after days spent flitting between beach and pool is the hotel's Restaurant La Sciari. Its rooftop terrace offers multi-hued sunrises and typical Sicilian cuisine, while more casual dining and drinking is afforded by rooftop and poolside bars.

After days spent at the beach, venture further afield by hiring a car and heading to the city of Cefalù, 70 minutes' drive away. Here you can wander twisting and turning medieval streets that are overlooked by the imposing and ancient ruins of the temple of Diana.

The hotel itself is quite nice and located on a mountain side. The pool area is fantastic. Food is pretty goos [sic]. Rooms modern and clean, with stunning views of Gioiosa Marea.
