Spreading a wealth of five star facilities over a luxury complex, the Hilton Taba's fancy terrain includes a private beach fringing the Red Sea. Further extravagances are afforded by an on-site casino and beauty salon, while sporty holidaymakers can test their backswing in one of five tennis courts. An extensive pool complex proffers plenty of opportunity for splashing about and with scuba diving and water sports available, guests can explore a little deeper. When hunger strikes, hotel guests are presented with a whole host of dining options that take in local and international cuisine, while thirsty work at the beach is rewarded at watering holes that include the Pirates Bar.
The shallow coral reef that resides in the Red Sea invites plenty of opportunity for snorkelling, especially if you’re not that keen on plumbing the depths with scuba diving. The colourful undersea flora and fauna are famed for their variety and explorations are likely to bring you nose to nose with finned friends. Take a short ferry ride from Taba to reach the dry land of Pharaoh’s Island where the 12th century fortress of Saladin looms tall. The restored palace offers panoramic views of the scenery between Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Alternatively, the multi-hued Sinai mountain range presents more active outings, with tour operators offering quad biking treks up the peaks to take you to the true heights of Taba.

If you want to go snorkelling in the sea it’s worth bringing your own gear to avoid the high local prices for masks and snorkels.
The Hilton Taba Resort was rated 4.5/5 by TripAdvisors. While a few opinions varied on food and decor, visitors were eager to praise the friendly staff, range of activities and relaxed atmosphere.
Snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, camel rides, boat trips or just lying on the beach or at the pool there is always something to do. All the staff are brilliant.

We really did want to get away and do nothing much but swim, snorkel, sunbathe, eat, sleep, read, etc etc. A proper chill holiday. This was a fantastic hotel for it.
