With the Grade II-listed Portman Square Gardens on the doorstep and a terrace for al fresco entertaining, the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel offers a little leafiness amid the bustle of the West End. The rooms come with Queen-sized beds and plenty of wood furnishings, while the leisure centre offers a full workout for those who don't fancy a jog around Hyde Park. With a menu that spans a range of cuisines, from British beef to Indian masalas via Italian pastas and risottos, the Portman Corner Restaurant caters to both refined and eclectic palates.
Committed thespians will be spoilt for choice by the generous spread of theatres in the West End, with buzzing bright lights and the bells of cycle rickshaws disappearing into the curiosities of Chinatown. Heading south through Hyde, Green, and St James's Parks will lead visitors past the familiar sights of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster Bridge, before curling north to the National Gallery’s changing program of exhibits. Alternatively, float between galleries by taking the Thames Clipper boat from the Tate Britain at Millbank Millennium Pier to the Tate Modern at Bankside Pier. Both have a number of free exhibitions as well as their more transient, pay-per-view showcases.
- Standard double room with en suite bathroom, robes and TV
- Three course à la carte dinner on the first night
- Full English breakfast each morning

The Radisson Blu Portman received 4/5 from TripAdvisors. Though a few opinions varied on service, guests generally praised the staff and rooms, though special mentions went to the hotel’s location.
The hotel is perfectly located (so to say on Oxford street) and a short walk from many nice restaurants and bars. And do go for the hotel breakfast, it was outstanding!

It was very pleasant. Hotel standard is very good – cleanliness, room, value, service and staff considered. Location is excellent. 300 meters from Oxford Street, but without the noise.
