The Hotel
A large 19th century Moroccan house held within the city walls, the Riad al Madina is a quiet enclave just 200 metres from the beach. The central courtyard reaches up from leafy pillars and a fountain to a broad glass ceiling, with the rooms leading off into snug arrangments of traditional furniture and fabrics. The restaurant is a cosy affair of cushions, caverns, and steaming tagines, while the tiled hammam sets a scene for indulgent ablutions.
