Chugging along in Antwerp centre, Century Hotel stays on track with views of the art nouveau and neo-Baroque façade of the Central Railway Station from its restaurant windows. Often called ‘the diamond city’, Antwerp sparkles as one of the diamond trading centres of the globe, with over 70% of the world’s diamonds cut, polished and traded in the city. This seaport town also marks its place on the map with gastronomic guzzlings and its trademark Belgian beer found in many of the bars and restaurants on its medieval Flemish streets.
Drink it all in with today's Groupon at Century Hotel from Short Breaks. Choose from the following options:

The Hotel
The art nouveau theme of the Central Station is reflected inside the hotel itself by its chandeliers, porcelain ornaments and paintings of peacocks that adorn the lobby, while the rooms maintain a contrastingly modern and minimalist edge. Christened with the affectionate nickname of the famous chef and critic, Maurice-Edmond Sailland, Curnonsky Restaurant serves up a mix of international dishes, with the bar boasting many a cocktail creation and Belgian beer.
Groupon Recommends
Antwerp Zoo nests close to the hotel and has over 5000 animals on show. One of the oldest zoos in the world, it opened in 1843. Saunter south west to the Diamond District to ogle at the countless collections of precious stones in shop windows and get a taste of the city’s economic sparkle. For a slice of history, visit the iconic statue in front of the town hall, which represents the origin of Antwerp’s name. Legend has it that a mythical giant used to charge a toll for crossing the river Scheldt until one day a hero chopped off his hand and threw it into the river.
