Top Tip
When swimming by the island’s beaches, remember that darker-coloured sands are an indicator of warmer waters as the solidified lava in these areas absorbs more heat.

The Thalassa Resort received 3.5/5 from TripAdvisors. While decor and service has split opinions, visitors generally found the staff friendly and praised the resort's setting and food.
The island is beautiful and the hotel, in particular, the communal areas like the pool, the dining area are postcard pretty. The staff were really welcoming and I was greeted by a glass of ouzo on my arrival.
